Wednesday, 17 June 2026 Awareness Raising
An Awareness Raising Stand was hosted at Four Seasons Shopping Centre. Maun Refuge team engaged shoppers and visitors by sharing information about Refugee Week, raising awareness of the challenges refugees face, and highlighting ways the public can support refugee communities.

From 15–21 June 2026, Maun Refuge Charity proudly commemorated Refugee Week 2026, embracing the year's theme, "Courage."
The theme recognised the strength, resilience, and hope demonstrated by refugees while encouraging communities to stand together in support of inclusion and belonging. Throughout the week, the charity organised a series of engaging activities that brought together refugees, volunteers, partners, and members of the wider community.

Monday, 15 June 2026 – Games Night
The week began with a Games Night held at St. John's Centre. The event provided a welcoming environment where people from diverse backgrounds connected through fun games and conversation, fostering and strengthening community bonds.

Community Football Match
The week also included a Community Football Match. The match aimed to promote teamwork, friendship, and inclusion through sport, bringing together people from different backgrounds in the spirit of unity.
