ESOL Lessons
The ESOL English lessons provided by the Maun Refuge have played a major role in
helping refugees and asylum seekers rebuild their lives in the UK. These classes go far
beyond language learning — they support independence, confidence, employment,
education, and social integration.
Activities & Projects
Our weekly Wednesday coffee morning and an allotment project, both of which
provide opportunities for connection and well-being.
Pop-up Restaurant
Pop-up restaurant that took part in Refugee Week 2025. It featured incredible dishes
prepared by our service users.
The Photography Project
our service users took part in during summer 2025 gave them
the opportunity to explore their creativity, with their work now being exhibited at the
New Art Exchange gallery in Nottingham.
